Cody Mowery

MD-PhD candidate in computational immunology & genomics at UCSF.

Current MD-PhD candidate, NIH/NIAID Kirschstein-NRSA F30 Fellow, and prior ImmunoX Computational Immunology Fellow at UCSF. PhD completed with Alex Marson and Jimmie Ye. UCSD alum. Previously worked with Dong-Er Zhang and Andrew Lane.

Integrating experimental and computational approaches to study the gene programs governing immune cell development and function. From there, I am interested in exploring how rational engineering of immune gene programs and multicellular repertoires can be leveraged for novel immunotherapeutics in infection, autoimmunity, and malignancy.

Working towards a future career understanding and addressing sequelae of aberrant immune reactions via clinical, scientific, and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Other interests include being outside biking, backpacking, skiing, and consuming byproducts of yeast metabolism.
